This privacy policy will explain how PhotoStructure, Inc. uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website and product.
What data do we collect? #
PhotoStructure collects personal identification and billing information:

PhotoStructure also may collect metadata about your computer when it sends error reports: you decide this during installation.

You directly provide PhotoStructure with most of the data that we collect.
We collect data and process data when you:
- Subscribe to our newsletter
- Provide your email address to our customer service chat
- Register online to place an order for any of our products or services.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
How will we use your data? #
PhotoStructure collects your data so that we can:
- Process your order and manage your plan’s subscription
PhotoStructure shares only relevant data with

- our error reporting partner, Sentry

- our payment processing partner, Stripe
We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. How do we store your data? #
The PhotoStructure product is a self-hosted application: your library’s files are never uploaded to PhotoStructure or any third parties.
PhotoStructure stores the email address you use to log into https://account.photostructure.com on a droplet hosted by Digital Ocean.

What are your data protection rights? #
PhotoStructure would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request PhotoStructure for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that PhotoStructure correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request PhotoStructure to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that PhotoStructure erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
